About These Standards

These standards apply to all content created for the imely Social Content Creator Program, including TikTok app reviews, character introductions, and personal experience videos. Only videos that meet these standards can move forward to payment review.

1. Eligibility

• Creators must be 18 years old or older.
• By applying, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these guidelines.
• If terms change, we will announce the update at least 3 days in advance on Discord. New terms apply only to videos posted after the effective date.
• The program currently applies only to videos posted on TikTok.

2. Video Content Standards

Videos must be SFW (Safe for Work) — suitable for general audiences and compliant with TikTok community standards. Videos must not:

• Contain profanity, insults, or visuals/audio involving violence, sexual content, or horror.
• Include discrimination, hate speech, or abusive language based on region, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Promote dangerous behavior, self-harm, or suicide.
• Place a character or user who is a minor in a romantic or sexual context.
• Include false information about imely, another individual or organization, or distorted historical claims.
• Use recognizable real people, whether public figures or private individuals, as content material.
• Attack, insult, or make negative comparisons against competitor apps.
• Use views, likes, comments, shares, or followers purchased through bots or paid services.

About 18+ characters: You may promote 18+ characters that exist in the app, but the video itself and all public-facing elements (avatar, name, description, caption, hashtag) must remain SFW. Treat it like a trailer for an 18+ film: you can introduce that the character exists and is interesting, but you cannot show NSFW details.

Engagement verification: When you submit a video, imely will review the analytics screenshot. If something looks unusual, such as an abnormal view spike or odd engagement ratio, imely may remove the video from review without providing additional proof.

3. Responsibilities After Payment

• By joining the program, you grant imely a non-exclusive right to repost, edit, and use your video on official imely marketing channels.
• You are responsible for reporting and paying personal income tax under Vietnamese tax regulations for earnings received from this program.
